"The best of Tien Shan" Horseback
One of the most balanced routes on horseback, we will spend unforgettable 5 days in picturesque summer pastures where herds of sheep and horses graze peacefully and golden eagles soar in the sky. we will see mountain lakes and sleep in yurts as nomads have done since ancient times. Charming landscapes of gorges and colossal snow-capped peaks over 5000 thousand meters high will leave indelible impressions.
The route is not difficult, it is suitable for beginners, there are places for galloping.
Departure from Karakol at 09:00 am to Karakol gorge, acquaintance with the horse guide, briefing and safety check. Then the first horseback ride towards Kok Jaiyk valley. The beginning of the tour - 2200 meters, the expected height of the final camp - 2500 meters. 16-18 km of riding.
Today we will make a radial riding trip under Oguz Bashy Peak (5170 meters). This is the most picturesque Peak in the mountain chain of Teskei Ala Too, you will be able to see the glacier at the foot and enjoy the view of the colossus of the Kyrgyz Mountains. We will try to get as close as possible to the foot of the mountain to see this power up close and hope that the weather will be favorable to us. After a delicious breakfast we continue our journey to the Kyzyl Suu Gorge, we will pass the Suttu Bulak pass, which is 3000 meters high. We will pass through summer pastures, where you can see nomads with their families, herds of horses and other animals. Overnight stay with the family of Mirlan and Albina, they are a very hospitable and friendly family. They cook the best food in the area. Travel time is 4-5 hours. The distance is 18 km. Today we will explore Kuzul Suu valley, we will visit meteo station, enjoy the view of peaceful and breathtaking views of Tien Shan Mountains. On the way back bathing in natural Hot springs and back to our Yrt camp
After a delicious breakfast, we say goodbye to Mirlan and Albina's family. The last day of our tour, today we are going to Kichi Kyzyl Suu gorge located to the west of the yurt camp, we need to drive to the red rocks in the back of the gorge where our driver is waiting for us. In total we will spend 14 km on horseback. Upon arrival we say goodbye to the guide and horses. then transfer to Karakol.
